Steven Spielberg | $7.5 Billion

Whenever we’re asked to enumerate some of the world’s most influential filmmakers, Steven Spielberg would find his way into the list sooner or later. With his passion for creating movies already apparent when he was a kid, one of Spielberg’s first works was a home movie he made when he was just 12 years old. A few years later, he began his professional career directing TV shows and other small-scale projects.

Well, after modest beginnings, Spielberg has since garnered a skyrocketing degree of praise and recognition among fans and colleagues alike. After getting his first big break with the 1975 blockbuster hit Jaws, the filmmaker has released films such as Jurassic Park, ET the Extra-Terrestrial, Schindler’s List, and The Post. Plus, with Spielberg currently working on an upcoming movie called The Fabelmans, it’s safe to say he won’t be leaving the industry anytime soon.
