Jamie Foxx

Before becoming highly successful, Jamie Foxx was immensely struggling to make headways in Hollywood. In the 1990s, he had his sitcom, which was unsuccessful but propelled his career somewhat. While Foxx has demonstrated his superb talent through his performance in Ali in 2001, it took him years to strike gold until 2004, his breakthrough year. More importantly, this year, he portrayed Ray Charles in Ray’s biographical film and played alongside Tom Cruise in Collateral. Both films were critically and commercially acclaimed, with Fox winning an Oscar for Ray.

Today, Foxx has become a highly bankable star. Recently, he got the voice lead in Pixar’s Soul. Other films Foxx starred in include Django Unchained, White House Down, and Baby Driver. In addition, he has established a successful music career, having collaborated with various artists such as Kanye West, Ludacris, and Mary J. Blige. He was given credit for his work via a star at the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007.
