Oscar-winning actor Ben Kingsley will be starring as Salvador Dali in an upcoming UK feature film Dalíland which had just finished filming in the United Kingdom recently. The feature revolves around the straining relationship of Spanish Painter Salvador Dali and his wife Gala. Kingsley will appear together with Venice Best Actress Barbara Sukowa as Gala.

Born as Krishna Bhanji, Ben Kingsley is a renowned actor who can play versatile roles. He takes recognition for starring in Gandhi, where he takes credit for an Award-winning Academy performance. Before hitting the big screen, Kingsley was part of the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1967 and debuted as a Broadway actor five years after. Subsequently, he took up roles in Betrayal, Turtle Diary, and Pascali’s Island. It is worth noting that the actor continued to take up diverse roles later in his career and has earned numerous nominations.
