Sophia Loren
She started acting in the 1950s, booking minor roles until she received a contract signing by Paramount Pictures in 1958. Shortly after, she starred in the 1960 film Two Women, which gave her more recognition, such as an Academy Award and Cannes Film Festival. Other notable films she lent her acting prowess are Marriage Italian Style and Nine. Surprisingly, Lauren also won a Grammy Award in 2004 for her spoken word album Wolf Tracks and Peter and the Wolf.
Even in her 80s, Sophia still doesn’t stop with the profession that made her famous and wealthy. In 2021, she starred in the Italian film The Life Ahead. The actress also received multiple recognitions from local award shows, including the David di Donatello Awards, extending her record for most wins with seven. As of writing, she also has a BAFTA, five Golden Globes, including the honorary Cecil B. DeMille Award, and a Laurel Award.
