Andy Garcia
Andy Garcia is perhaps living the American dream at the moment, but he left a piece of his 5-year old heart when his family left for the United States. At a young age, Garcia already felt a desire for acting. In the 1970s, he had worked as a waiter to make ends meet while auditioning for different roles. After a decade of feeble attempts, he landed a position with a Los Angeles improvisational group. In one of their comedy shows, a casting agent for the TV series Hill Street Blues received enlightenment from his performance. Garcia would subsequently take credit for being one of the casts in the pilot episode.
His sharp facial features, accompanied by his assertive manner, landed him significant roles in classic films such as The Untouchables and The Godfather. His more recent appearances include Ghostbusters, Passengers, and Mamma Mia! Here We Go Again.
