Fran Drescher


Fran Drescher was a prominent comedic actress back in the 1980s. Her first film appearances were in the classic Saturday Night Fever and American Hot Wax. During the 1990s, she would be most famous for her performances as Fran Fine in the TV series The Nanny, which aired from 1993 to 1999.

Through her years in the limelight, Drescher is infamously known for being part of one the most public breakups in Hollywood history. She was married for over two decades to Peter Marc Jacobson, but in 1999, he came out as gay. Since then, Drescher has never been married again. In an interview she did with People, she said that she learned a degree of independence by being single through the years. Moreover, she has learned to enjoy doing things by herself and that she is doing quite alright having a relationship with herself.
